Vehicle Categories and Taxonomies

Vehicle Categories let you divide the vehicles in your fleet into logical groups and provide powerful filtering options on the frontend. Managed via MHM Rentiva > Vehicle Categories.

On this page you can sort your vehicles into main classes and create a hierarchical structure.

Category Management (Categories)​

Used to divide your vehicles into main classes (e.g. Economy, VIP, SUV, Commercial).

  • Hierarchical Structure: Categories can be nested (e.g. Passenger > Sedan).
  • Category Image: In some themes, category icons or images are used on listing pages.
  • Shortcode Integration: Use parameters such as [rentiva_vehicles category="vip"] to list vehicles in a specific category.

Filtering and Search Compatibility​

Every category you define here automatically becomes a filter option in the frontend vehicle search form. Your customers can easily find vehicles in a specific category thanks to these definitions.
