This is a major release, and the first Pro build published since 5.2.3 at the end of July. Two sentences cover most site owners: update MHM Rentiva to 6.1.3 first, then Pro, and your data moves itself the next time you open the admin. Everyone else — anyone with custom code hooked into Pro — has a short list to read first, because 70 hook names changed and nothing warns you when one stops firing.

If your vehicle detail fields were configured before 6.1.2, adding gallery images and pressing Update could wipe the gallery you had just added. 6.1.3 stops that, and it asks nothing of you: no database change, no re-saving of settings. Installing it is enough.

If a customer paid and then cancelled, Rentiva marked the booking as awaiting a refund and stopped there. No money moved. Somebody had to notice and refund it by hand. From 6.1.0 the cancellation carries the refund through to your payment gateway itself.

MHM Rentiva is now published on the WordPress.org plugin directory. You install it the way you install anything else — search for it, click install — and WordPress keeps it updated from there on.

Another patch on the way to the WordPress.org submission, and another release where the interesting part is not the bug we fixed but what we found while checking whether we had described it honestly.

A patch release with one uncomfortable admission in it. Preparing for the WordPress.org submission, we ran our WooCommerce control checklist against the whole codebase for the first time — and found that we had never answered WooCommerce's compatibility questions at all.

A patch release about honesty. The dashboard chart was named after something it does not measure, and a set of admin strings was being shipped in English despite having been translated months ago. Both are fixed — and the second one turned out to have a cause worth writing down.

The largest release in the 5.x line so far. Permission checks now test the specific record a request names instead of a general capability, the admin markup is filtered as it is printed, the Dashboard and Vehicle Settings screens are redesigned — and a long list of controls that claimed to do something, but were connected to nothing, has been removed.

A small follow-up to v5.1.0, continuing the pass ahead of the WordPress.org listing. Nothing about how the plugin behaves changes here — this is the kind of release that is worth publishing precisely because it is uneventful.
